Hasbro Studios is the Burbank-based production company responsible for Pound Puppies and several other Hub original series. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. All of its television properties air on the Hub Network, a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc. In fall 2014, the Hub Network was rebranded as Discovery Family Channel.

In 2012, Hasbro's film divisions were transferred to Hasbro Studios.

For Pound Puppies and its sister properties My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Littlest Pet Shop, the studio is responsible for writing and ownership. Animation is handled by DHX Media/Vancouver and sound is handled by Studiopolis and Dick & Roger's Sound Studio.

Other Hasbro Studio properties are similarly produced by different companies such as Darby Pop or Zoo Productions.
